La Taguara, a famous "arepería" from Barcelona ask us to create a graphic concept to promote their main dish: The arepa, an unknown food on catalonia but not on south america where it comes from and is very popular. The challenge was to invite local people and tourists to discover this kind of crunchy cornmeal pancakes.
Our response was handmade, almost like the concept of the arepa itself. Barcelona is a city where a diverse culinary culture coincides. It has a lot of restaurants and food stalls with flavors from around the world, but there was missing one: the arepa. So, every meal of the world gathered to welcome it.
